I finished my first three weeks of college (that’s why I haven’t posted) and let me tell you it wasn’t easy. The amount of stress that I felt like I had on me was insane! Don’t let that scare you about going to school though. Now going to my classes multiple times I feel like I know what to expect and I understand all the professors and how they run there classes.
At college you are responsible for everything, we are always told that in high school, but it was kind of a shock. Now I’m use to it and prefer it over being “babysat”. It helps you learn about yourself too, you realize if your a slacker and procrastinator. I was the first week now I’m like, this is my college career and I want to be successful so that starts now! And if you keep up with assignments it shows in your work and you’ll do great.
If there’s one thing I could change, it’s when I scheduled my classes. I would have put them all on two to three days a week, not everyday. That has really messed with my sleeping schedule considering I still have work. Before you go to schedule your classes look at your Degree Works and see what you need to take then go to www.ratemyprofessor.com and look up your school and then all the professors that teach your class to find the best one. So you’ll have a plan going in, you schedule your classes at orientation, but you can change it as soon as your home if you want. Also consider your work schedule because you need to make sure you have time to get enough hours, but also have time to study which is most important.
I hope this helped you guys if your going to college this spring or next fall! I hope you guys enjoyed this post, please follow my blog if you’d like! Have a great weekend!
